Our mission is to grow the sport of Rugby Union in the Houston area by funding and facilitating programs.  We have enhanced the efforts of Houston area clubs and schools and their hardworking coaches, parents and administrators.  Rugby is being played not only at the high school level but in some areas as early as pre-K and kindergarten.

By working with USA Rugby, the Texas Rugby Union, and Rugby Texas - governing body for High School and younger-  Houston Youth Rugby Association works with school districts to expand opportunities for youth participation. Its efforts has supported state championships, as well as refereeing and coaching clinics including international coaches from the USA, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. While the aim of organization is grow the sport and to educate coaches, referees and players while funding worthy projects to facilitate its growth we also assist in improving access to, and creating new facilities for playing Rugby.

Like most non-profits we appreciate the support and generosity of donors.  We also are always looking for help and volunteers.  If you have an idea for a program, wish to volunteer, or make a donation, then reach out to info@lostafternoon.org.
